Gunmen launched an attack on the Federal Constabulary (FC) headquarters in Peshawar, where two individuals also detonated explosives near the facility’s entrance. Early reports indicate that at least three people lost their lives, while several others sustained injuries and were moved to Lady Reading Hospital, the city’s main public medical center.

According to a senior official, the first explosion occurred at the FC’s main gate, after which a second bomber managed to enter the compound. Security forces quickly sealed off the surrounding area, as authorities believe additional attackers may still be inside the premises.

The incident occurred around 8 a.m., as reported by DAWN, and targeted the recently renamed Federal Constabulary, a civilian paramilitary force based in a densely populated neighborhood close to a military cantonment. Shortly after the blasts, videos circulated across social media platforms, with users reporting that loud explosions were heard near FC Chowk in the Sadar area.

The attack highlights ongoing security vulnerabilities in high-risk urban zones and underscores the persistent threat facing paramilitary and law-enforcement installations in the region.
