The blast occurred at the Tarlai Imambargah in the Shehzad Town area, according to local media reports. Police and emergency responders were dispatched to the site shortly after the incident to conduct rescue and recovery operations.

Those injured were transported to several hospitals in the federal capital, including the Polyclinic Hospital, the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), and the Capital Development Authority (CDA) Hospital.
