In a heartfelt tribute, his mother, Jessica Abramson, said her son had been participating in the sport he loved when the accident occurred. She reflected on the overwhelming support the family received throughout his hospitalization, noting that messages, prayers and personal stories from friends and community members provided comfort during an extraordinarily difficult time.
